Your patient portal explained

The Alternaleaf patient portal allows you to easily manage your alternative medicine journey all in one place.

This is different from the pre-patient portal you used during your initial onboarding nurse and doctor consultations. Here you can access the Alternaleaf clinic where you can book follow-up consultations and manage your prescriptions, while also linking you to our partners at uMeds to create orders and track your deliveries.

 

Account activation

You’ll gain access to your Alternaleaf patient portal only after you complete your initial doctor consultation and receive your first prescription. Once the doctor uploads your prescription, an account will be created automatically, however you will need to activate it through your email before you can log in. This step is very important. 

To activate your Alternaleaf patient portal, follow the steps below:

  1. You’ll receive an email from Alternaleaf with the subject heading “Action required: Activate your account”. If you’re having trouble locating this email, please check your spam/junk folders, or enter the email heading into the search function. 
  2. Once you have located and opened this email, select the link “Create your password”. Choose a password that complies with our security requirements and one that you will remember. 
  3. You’ll then receive an email with the heading “Welcome To Your Patient Portal” which confirms that you’ve activated your account and provides a link to login. 

The email address used to login must be the same as the one that you used to sign up. If you’ve activated your account but forgotten your credentials, or you are having issues logging in, you can reset your password.



Self-service

There are many self-service options available in the Alternaleaf patient portal. This allows you to save time while being in control of your alternative medicine journey.

Consultations:

  • Book a new consultation
  • View your scheduled consultation details
  • Start your consultation
  • Reschedule or cancel your consultation
  • View your previous consultations
  • View consultation payment status

Prescriptions:

  • View active prescriptions
  • View your prescription expiry date
  • View your dosage
  • View your medication interval time
  • View previous inactive prescriptions

View orders (this section of the patient portal connects you with our partners at uMeds):

  • View active orders
  • Find your order number
  • View the status of an order
  • Download an itemised order receipt
  • Track your order delivery
  • View past orders

Medicine information:

  • View your prescribed medications
  • Find detailed product information
  • View usage instructions

Profile:

  • View your profile details
  • Change your shipping address
  • Update your phone number
  • Change your password

  • Create a new order
  • View your remaining repeats
  • View unavailable medication
  • Request a replacement prescription
