Delivery process

Medication delivery is managed by our partner uMeds. uMeds uses StarTrack Premium to send orders securely to residential and business addresses, as well as PO boxes. As a business of Australia Post, StarTrack offers fast and convenient delivery to almost anywhere in Australia.

Parcels are packaged in a discreet box or satchel, and a signature is required on delivery. If you’re not home to sign for your delivery, your parcel will be taken to your nearest Australia Post Office for collection. Some PO Boxes may also require you to collect your parcel from the Australia Post counter. Please take identification with you to pick up your order. 

If you don’t have a fixed address, or if a PO Box isn’t the best option for you, we recommend signing up for Parcel Collect. This is a free service that allows you to get your parcel delivered directly to a participating Post Office. 

Please note, uMeds is unable to send orders to Australia Post Parcel Lockers.

 

Delivery timeframe

Most orders are delivered within 1-3 business days from the date of payment. This timeframe can vary beyond 3 business days depending on several factors, such as TGA approval or stock availability. 

Due to the regulations around schedule 8 medication, your order may need to go through a series of steps before delivery. StarTrack Premium aims to deliver your order within 2 business days once it’s collected from the pharmacy.




Warehouse

Pharmacies can only hold a small amount of stock on-site, sometimes it's necessary for the warehouse to ship it to the pharmacy first. This takes 1-3 business days. 

Pharmacy

The pharmacist will fill your prescription and prepare your medication for delivery. This takes 1-2 business days. 

Delivery

Your order is now ready for shipping. You’ll receive a tracking number which will become active within 24 hours. Shipping usually takes 1-3 business days.


Shipping costs

All orders have a $15 flat-rate shipping and dispensing fee.


Shipping address

All orders will be shipped to the address listed on your profile, which can also be updated during checkout.


To change your delivery address, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to your Patient Portal.

  2. Select “Profile” from the left navigation menu.



  3. Start typing your new address in the required field.



  4. Select your address from the dropdown options. If you can’t find your address, choose the option “Enter address manually”. 

  5. Choose “Update Profile”.




Track your order

You’ll receive your tracking number via email within 24-48 hours after your order has been dispensed from the pharmacy. This is because the package needs to be collected and then physically scanned in by StarTrack.

You can find your tracking information in your patient portal.

To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. Login to your Patient Portal.

  2. If you have any previous orders, you can select “View orders” from the homepage or left navigation menu.

  3. You’ll be taken to a page where you can see your active orders and any past orders. 

If your order has been “Shipped by pharmacy”, there will be an option to “Track delivery”. When you select this option, you’ll be taken directly to the StarTrack tracking link to track your order.
